Board of Education Names Superintendent Finalists

At its March 26th board work session, the Durango School District 9-R Board of Education selected two finalists from a pool of 25 candidates for the superintendent position.  They are as follows:

  • Jody Mimmack, executive director of instructional support for Mesa County Valley School District #D51 in Grand Junction, Colorado.  Ms Mimmack will be interviewing on Monday, April 2nd.
  • Daniel Snowberger, an assistant superintendent in the Harrison School District, Colorado Springs, Colorado.  Mr. Snowberger will be interviewing on Tuesday, April 3.

The community is invited to attend one of the two community forums that will take place on each of the two days. The forums will be held at 12:15-1:15 p.m. and 5:30-6:15 p.m. in the board room of the district’s Administration Building, located 201 E. 12th Street in Durango.
