School Is Cancelled for Today, Monday, April 30, 2012

The following is an authorized message from Durango School District 9-R to all 9-R parents, students, and staff.

Interim Superintendent Bill Esterbrook has reported that due to bus vandalism over the weekend, school will be cancelled for today, Monday, April 30th, 2012, for all students.  Staff members are still required to report to work.

After-school activities and events will remain on schedule and we anticipate that schools will reopen tomorrow following the reinflation of all bus tires and thorough inspection of the buses.  If there are any changes, we will notify parents and staff via our AlertNow message system and our website.  We apologize for this inconvenience.

Again, all schools are cancelled for today, April 30th for all 9-R students only.
