Programs
In Durango School District 9-R, there is at least one pre-school in each of the seven elementary schools. The pre-school programs are tuition based and operate Monday through Thursdays during the school day only.
9-R also contracts with some private preschools to use Colorado Preschool Program (CPP) funds to pay for pre-school slots for children. Those preschools are Durango Early Learning Center, Florida Mesa Child Care Center, Fort Lewis College Campbell Center, and New Horizons Preschool. For more information about how to apply and qualify for CPP, please contact Libby Culver.
