The 9-R Board of Education will have three four-year seats up for election --- District A (currently filled by Nancy Stubbs), District C (currently filled by Kim Martin), and District E (previously filled by Andy Burns). Board members will hold an “information/awareness session” to talk to the public about the duties and responsibilities required for persons interested in serving on the Board of Education, which will be held on Thursday, August 17, 2017, at 4:30 p.m. in the 9-R Board Room. Board members will be discussing various topics, including (but not limited to) what makes a good school board member, eligibility, Coherent Governance, Board Policies, and State Statute.
