Today the FBI reported that many schools across the nation received information that there was a threat to safety. DHS received a call from the 911 Communication Center about an armed suspect approaching the campus. The district and local law enforcement take all threats very seriously.
DHS went into a secure lockout, and officers quickly responded to search the campus. After an extensive search, no threats were identified. Officers determined that the scene was secure. DHS was released from a secure lockout at 10:07 a.m.
