DHS Graduation - What to Know If You Go

Parking:
The main parking lot will be open and accessible from the south entrance ONLY.  And only for northbound traffic. You will not be able to turn left across traffic into the entry lane.

The main entrance road into the High School will be for drop off ONLY. You will not be able to access the parking lot from the main entrance.

Ceremony Tips:
Parking lot will open at 2:00 p.m.  Arrive early- parking is a challenge.

Gates open at 3:00 p.m.

Once you have found parking, enter through main DHS entrance.

Bring a hat, water bottle, sunscreen, and snacks. We start out in the sun, and it gets warm.
Bring a jacket- it gets cold when the sun sets behind the main building.

Be mindful of your elders- it's hard for some to sit for long periods of time and moving in large crowds can be a challenge. Ask more mobile family members (children are great) to save seats. Sit on ends and use blankets as seating for more comfort.

Remember this is a school- no alcohol, tobacco, firearms, etc.

Spanish translation is available- look for a marked off section in the bleachers on the lower left as you enter through the building and into the field area

Stadium Rules

  • No confetti.
  • No coolers.
  • No artificial noisemakers (air horns, megaphones, etc.).
  • Do not bring in any confetti sprayers, paint powder bombs or items that will leave small trash over the stands/bleachers that our grounds crew would need to clean up.
  • No items should be brought into the stadium that would not be allowed in the high school or on school property: no bags larger than 10x10 will be allowed into the stadium.
  • Drugs, alcohol, and firearms are prohibited.
