Students will split into groups to design bottle rockets throughout the day, then will test the designs. Parents are welcome to join in for the closing ceremony to see the rocket launches. The event runs from 10:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m.
Durango High School students will be there to mentor and guide groups in the engineering design process, which is a staple step in developing important problem solving skills.
