Riding the route to improvement: Tips for bus-riding families

We know how important it is to have clear and timely information, especially at the start of the school year. The delay in sharing these details was due to processing a significant number of new registrations – over 500 in just the first few days of school. We regret any inconvenience this may have caused.

To help ensure a smoother experience moving forward, we’d like to share a few important tips:
  • Annual registration for all riders: Every student must be registered for bus services at the beginning of each school year, even if your address or school hasn't changed. This helps us ensure accurate planning and communication. This year's 2024/25 Bus Registration Form can be found here.

  • Early bus registration (May-July): We encourage families to register their riders between May and mid-July each year. Early registration allows us to provide you with route and location details well before the school year begins. We’ll send regular reminders to keep you informed and on track.

  • Stopfinder app coming soon: We’re excited to introduce Stopfinder, a new app that will allow you to track your student and their bus in real-time using a GPS system linked to new student badges. We expect that  log-in credentials will be sent to all bus-rider families within the next two weeks, and we can’t wait for you to experience the convenience it offers.
