SEAC Vision and Mission
We believe that all students should be respected, inspired to do their best, and supported in reaching their goals. Our mission is to speak up for children with disabilities and help make decisions that improve their education.
Purpose and Goals
- Advisory Role: The members of SEAC give advice to help the district make decisions that bring positive outcomes for students. Giving advice means sharing information, making suggestions, and offering guidance.
- Community Engagement: SEAC helps connect the school district with the community by encouraging communication and cooperation between parents, teachers, and others.
- Awareness and Education: SEAC works to make people aware of special education topics and teaches parents about their rights and the resources they can use.
- Functions and Responsibilities: Celebrate, educate, collaborate, and seek feedback from families.
Importance of SEAC
SEAC is important because it helps ensure that students with disabilities get the support they need to succeed. This helps make our schools more equitable and inclusive for everyone.
