This year’s event features a Mardi Gras theme and aims to educate the school and community on Black history, culture, and issues.
Each ticket includes a chance to win a door prize, and additional door prize tickets will be available for $1 each.
Suggested minimum donations:
- Youth (ages 5-12): Donation-based
- Students with ID: $10
- Adults: $20
There are three ways to purchase tickets:
- Buy tickets online

- Include your name and the type and number of tickets you are purchasing in the “Name, Address & Affiliation” field.
- Once you create an account, you can pay with a credit/debit card or check.
- Pay by check at Durango High School (2390 Main Ave., Durango)
- Make out a paper check to: DHS Black Student Alliance
- Write "Soul Food Dinner" in the memo line, along with the type and number of tickets you are purchasing.
