Angela Fosco
Angela began her career with Durango 9-R in 2016 as a Cook at Escalante Middle School. Angela was promoted to the Animas Valley Elementary Cafeteria Manager in 2018. When asked what she likes best about her job, Angela replied, "the kids, families, and staff."
Angela enjoys encouraging kids to try new foods and getting their feedback. Angela is a culinary school graduate and uses these skills to prepare creative and delicious meals for her students.
Angela enjoys spending time in her garden, reading books, and doing puzzles. She especially enjoys camping and hiking and spending quality time with her family.
Fun fact: Angela is a skilled water skiier!
